just got the latest aunt update. after two days of being in a medically induced coma (so she would not put too much strain on her heart while it heals), the doctors have begun reducing the amount of sedative they are giving her, and are also decreasing the number of pumps the machine is pumping her heart for her. as odd as it sounds, this is good news. they are hoping that as they continue to decrease the pumping machine (very technical term), that her heart will begin pumping for itself. we continue to pray and hope and sincerely appreciate those of you who are doing the same.
in other news. i recently posted a list of some things i want to do in the next year. i am so happy to report that erin has volunteered to help me with number 1, and anne has volunteered to help me with number 3 and possibly number 7. lara is helping me out with number 17, and i have already made progress on numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, and 20.
so far, so good.
