funny: why john corbett (whom i love) is sporting serendipity-esque lars-like locks and covering a jason aldean song, in a video which features him swinging around with a guitar and shoveling dirt.not funny: why i am so deeply connected to animals. upon learning several hours ago that my parents are 'getting rid of' their cat, nicholas (who is perhaps the most loving cat ever), i have not been able to keep my eyes dry.

Okay, we're not "getting rid of their (Kate's) cat." He's going to a big farm, with a big barn and lots of freedom to roam. One complaint from homeowner's association came; 2nd one, a fine and Nicholas still goes. Years of allergy shots, shredded furniture and carpets, throw-up cleanup, boarding when we go somewhere, etc., have proved our love for the lovable Nicholas. But the time has come for another home for him, particularly since we are not sure we'll be in this one three or four months from now ...

Couple things:
1. I am typically unimpressed by famous people.
Unless they're hot.
John Corbett was once in our studios and I basically missed an important meeting so I could just watch him in person. Wow. He's SO tall. And hot.
2. Your adorable cat looks like my first kitty, Maxinne. I loved her more than any creature ever on this earth. I'm an animal fanatic (and tend to pick up strays without even a second thought). So sad. Your kitty will have a good home though. It sounds as if you might at least be able to visit!
OOhh, I am SO jealous! Even with the goofy long hair, he is still John Corbett.
