i'm getting giddy

it is just over a week now until the annual infestation at duck beach. after last year's r&r, it was a must again for this year, so corey and i got ourselves a house. we have people coming from portland, salt lake, new york, and baltimore to enjoy some fun in the sun. i'm especially excited about seeing deb, jill, and nate. positively elated, in fact.

and today, i finally saw pictures of the house. yes, blind faith has been in play. the house we chose is a new construction, so all we have seen previously, is artist renderings. i felt fairly comfortable in the fact that the houses in pine island (many of which i visited last year) all have a similar feel. but looking at the pictures today, it is even prettier than i expected. i love hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances!

maybe i will cook! at the very least, i will be spending some time in the hot tub, with a nice box of krispy kremes.
