tuesday, was fairly productive. i rolled through the ever increasing pile of work on my desk as if i actually cared. i re-colored my hair (finally, now that i am tan, i can go darker again!), and i met up with anne for an evening stroll at great falls park.then came the grinding halt to the day. i won't go into detail, but i got some news from j that pulled the proverbial rug out from under my feet. it would seem that all of my recent efforts to develop more patience and faith have not been without their purpose. i am now having to excercise every ounce i have, in the hopes that the outcome of this new development will be the right one. what is most difficult, is that i don't know what the right one is, and it's not my call to make. there are pros and cons no matter how you look at it.
for now, i pray for the best result for everyone involved, and the ability to accept it with grace and peace -- whatever it is. i fast, i study, and i excercise the patience and faith i have sought to gain.

Out of all of the pictures we took that night you had to use one where I look kind of wacky? Of course it doesn't surprise me because you look hot and it is your blog afterall! ;)
actually, believe it or not, most of the ones we thought were good, weren't so much. but i will make it up to you.
